Due to the unexpected competence of the Tour de France (cycling race) arriving day 11 July nearby Auxerre, exactly to Joigny, only 28 km apart from Auxerre (http://www.letour.fr), the hotel situation has become close to a chaos with our expected 500 attendants (drivers, teams, sponsors, public) nearly without proper allocation.
The Tour request a blocking of hundreds of rooms around each of its arrivals, and this is a request every applicant for an arrival covers very soon, so that the hotel situation during that week is a big problem.

Facing that, an unforeseen situation, the French Federation, F.V.R.C, have asked for a permission to move the race 1 week later, and after deep analysis of the situation I have decided to authorize such and so that the XXVII European Championship will be held at the designated Venue (Vaux - Auxerre) from 17 to 21 July.

I want to remind all drivers that for this coming season 2007 that the 2 chamber mufflers are no longer suitable for use at the EFRA races. Please pay attention to the muffler numbers, only the mufflers with numbers on the 2000 series (with the exception of the 2008) and the 9901 will be valid for use at our races.

In the coming months the list of valid mufflers will be updated, actual numbering includes up to 2063 and so that at least 60 mufflers are available for use.
