with silicone oil for shocks (or more rarely diffs) there are often
two kinds of units involved: For one, there's the standardised
"Centi Poise" and on the other hand, there is the commonly used
"Weight" measurement.
Converting these two can become tricky (especially above
300cps/25wt) since they have a progressive/regressive connection to
each other. This tool
will help you convert "cps" into "wt" and "wt" into "cps" for
viscosities typically associated with shocks and diffs.
Accuracy is limited to the unit place. You should read the article
