Bei den Amis wurde von den Associated Jungs ein neuer Motor getestet.



Bei diesem Motor handelt es sich um einen reinen Prototypen. Ob er dann auch wirklich mit diesem Kühlkopf erscheinen wird, ist noch nicht klar.

Der Motor wird voraussichtlich das Label Reedy tragen.

Weiters wurde von den Associated Jungs am RC 8 die BigBore-Dämpfer des RC 8 Truggy getestet.

Der neue Reedy-Motor scheint zu funktionieren.

Ryan Maifield hat damit bereits sein erstes Rennen gewonnen.

Two weeks since announcing his split from GRP, Ryan Maifield has been announced as an 'official Reedy' driver. Maifield debuted the engine package at this weekend's pre-worlds and wrapped up TQ and a win in the Nitro Fest class. Impressive for his first race using Reedy power.

Team Associated report that Maifield has signed to use the Reedy engine, "for the remainder of the 2008 season and beyond." with no precise date mentioned. Maifield will also play a part in the development of the engine, ensuring it is suitable for world class competition.
